HONOLULU - A daughter of reality TV star Duane "Dog" Chapman was killed in a car accident late Friday, a day before her father's wedding, a spokesman said.
Barbara Katy Chapman, 23, died near her home of Fairbanks, Alaska, said Michael Feeney, senior vice president of A&E television network.
Duane Chapman's Saturday wedding on the Big Island went forward as planned after the family consulted with a preacher and agreed to celebrate her life at the ceremony, Feeney told The Associated Press.
The star of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" married his longtime sidekick, Beth Smith, after being together for 16 years. The wedding is scheduled to be featured in an Aug. 14 episode of the show about Chapman and his tattooed crew of fugitive finders.
Barbara Chapman had not been expected to attend the wedding, and the circumstances of the accident were unclear, Feeney said.
She was one of 12 of the bounty hunter's children. She is survived by her mother, Lyssa Greene, and her 4-year-old son, Travis Drake-Lee Chapman.
I get that this is sad and all....but am I the only one that was like "WTF!" at the TWELVE CHILDREN part?!!! Someone's not shooting blanks...

I had to read that part twice, once with my left and once with the right just to make sure. :) Twelve kids, holy sh!t!!!!
Why could you sleep??? I got up at 4am to peel myself from the couch onto which I had fallen asleep watching Dirty Jobs on Discovery. The irony of it all was that I woke up at 7am staring at the ceiling after dreaming about being in an episode of the The Unit, (ya I snicker every time I see the ad for it to.) I think I ended up 'napping' until 9am. I blame this entirely on the fact that my curtains do nothing to block out the morning sun... wait no lets go with morning light because this weekend has been as gloomy as gloomy comes, weather-wise that is. May 24 weekend and the weather here bites!!!
