Don't have a blog man

Simpsons Intro, re-done

Pure brilliance!!

Gasp whatever will I watch on Mondays without Dr. 90210?!

Since I had nothing to do all weekend but park my ass in front of the tv, I ended up watching a TON of Food Network (plus...Armeggedon for the trillionth time...and Dogma, which I realized, i had never seen the end of)...

They had this one show that showed the "behind the scenes" of Food Network. It was actually super interesting.

Like obviously we all know that a given cooking show has a ton of people prepping the foods and all that, but the space used for the Food Network is astronimical. It seems like the chefs barely do anything.

That being said, take 30 Minute Meals...a few things to note:
1. Rachel Ray said she always gets asked if that's her house, and it's not (because the seasons never change outside)...which is funny, because I asked that when I saw her.
2. The oven is retro, but the fridge is brand new...they just created a custom retro-looking shell for it
3. She has a HUGE room of "pretty" servingware
4. Since they can't show labels, they make their own. That's key, 'cause it always bugged me that they had those bizarre labels on her products...turns out, one dude makes fake labels but they're super funny the hidden messages he's got on them...
5. There's a chick who cleans up at the "break"...yeah garbage bowl my ass, no wonder it looks clean...

6. What's fascinating is the choreography...i really didn't realize how much of it had to be orchestrated. Like "step here, step here, go here, get this from the fridge, come back here"...that blew me away, 'cause she films 4 episodes/day so that's alot to remember.

I used to wonder with Everyday Italian what the deal was with Giada's kitchen...it's too "homely" to be a set but it changes each season. Well turns out, i was kinda right...for 2 months straight they rent and supe up homes in Hollywood...the garage gets converted to a prep area...

The other thing I used to wonder was wtf was up with the filming, like there's always this haze...turns out, they use movie film instead of video film, which uses less frames per second.

And lastly...yes, those are her friends they show on TV.

What they didn't answer: I'm pretty sure Giada's had a boob job. I take her boobs seriously. In early seasons she was pretty flat...i mean, come ON...she's like 90lbs with boobage on her tiny frame...

So now you know!
