So today I took over for Carrie as Dog Walker Extraordinaire.

I've never walked a dog before in my life. I mean, I've gone with friends who have walked their dogs...but today...it was Sabina vs. Dog.

Or more specifically,
Sabina vs. Daisy

I'd tell you the breed of dog...but all I can say is the breed was small, white, fluffy, with a brown nose. For an older dog, she's quite spry...she was running pretty fast. I don't know what's with this rich couple having such a ghetto dog leash...I had to keep the button pressed the entire time in order to keep the leash at a certain length.

Speaking of rich...OH MY GOD. These homes in Laguna Niguel are just amazing. Granted elsewhere people would look and say "Uh...they have no front yard"...which is true, rich people's homes in Orange County consist of a huge driveway, a huge walkway, and nothing more. I was in hysterics when this ugly over-tanned-burnt guy opened his garage door to expose his corvette and ferrari. You know what's even more sad? Those aren't even THAT high end of cars, but elsewhere they would be.

Anyway, back to Daisy. So we're walking along, and I'm thinking "yeah I can do this, dogs are cute. Maybe one day we'll get one".

Uh...no.

First off, their peeing situation isn't cool. She'd run up to someone's yard and start peeing. And you can't STOP a dog mid-pee. And the pooping? Nasty ass stuff. Worse too is that she would go do that where clearly other dogs like to do that too...and then she would step in other dogs' old poop...and the cord would wrap around her and the old poop...

Being extremely hungover, it's amazing I didn't projectile vomit.

Anyway, my point is that today was my first day EVER of walking a dog by myself. Go me. Maybe tomorrow I'll take on solid food.

The song of the day (still in honor of Valentine's Day coming up) is This I Swear by Nick Lachey...I know he's separated and all that from his wife, but it's a BEAUTIFUL song. My plan is to dance to it with kraig on our X year wedding vow renewal.
