Jane you ignorant slut

So I've been pretty crabby this weekend...to say that I've been in a bad, BAD, bad mood would be putting it mildly.

To top it off, Kraig and I watched Swordfish yesterday on DVD...OMG i knew there was a reason I didn't want to watch it 5 years ago.

Seriously...will people STOP making movies where the numbers make little "ding dingly dingggg" noises when they come on the screen? To top it off, Hugh Jackman wears EARPHONES while programming...but he keeps the volume on so we can hear the computer making "digngngngngnglllyy" noises when it compiles?! WHO DOES THAT?! NO ONE! In fact, if you're not listening to music, odds are, you've got your sound turned off.

AND...to top it off...he was all impressed...by...flatscreen monitors that were positioned at non-ergonomic levels?! WTF is that about? And what programming language translates your code to little cubes when it's compiled correctly?! AND....okay granted I don't know anything about making a worm but my guess is that you're not going to have "Infection Status..." flashing on your screen.

FINALLY...can we please stop having in movies where people hack into government networks and when it doesn't work, BIG RED FLASHING TEXT appears on the screen saying "ACCESS DENIED"...and then when you hack in (apparently EVERYONE can get into the DND network) it says in big green letters ACCESS GRANTED. SOrry, big green letters with a "beep! Beep!" sound to match as it flashes. I mean, what do I know...maybe the American Government really does have their networks do that. But...for the sake of reality (i.e. 99% of us will never attempt to hack into that network)...can you just make it look like a normal logon screen?!

Anyway, that's besides the point.

All i CAN say is that this is the only thing that cheered me up today:

(stigmata...i'm cryyyyying laughing...although i realize that posting that will either end up as a broken link or at least, eff up my template format 'cause it's too wide and i don't want to shrink it down)

Going to watch some OC today...that should lift my spirits. In fact, I just need a blowup doll of Seth in my house...THAT would keep me cheered up.

The song of the day, with the countdown to Vday approaching, is LOVE IS by Vanessa Williams & Brian McKnight
Love breaks your heart
Love takes no less than everything
Love makes it hard
And it fades away
So easily

Yeah, an oldie but a goodie with that one.

THE BOOBS WERE A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!! I was complaining to that about Stefanie yesterday....total waste. They were better off getting a B-actress with nice fake ones.

That whole movie was basically 2 hours of my life that i'll never get back. Travolta, you owe me!
